As office administrator, Dana Johnston has many roles. In addition to doing general office tasks, she also does all the office billing, benefits, new hire and human resources work. She assists with some of the event planning for the firm and its clients as well.Dana graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in English.
Karina Patino joined Flaherty & Hood as a legal assistant in the areas of labor law, employment law and human resources. Karina assists in drafting labor contracts; performs legal research; constructs files for mediation, arbitration, collective bargaining agreements and negotiations; performs wage data analysis; and assists in drafting personnel policies and job descriptions. In addition, she performs accounting administration for the Minnesota Environmental Science and Economic Review Board (MESERB).
Karina’s prior professional experience includes work in the areas of probate, landlord tenant law, foreclosure, real estate law and contract law.
Karina graduated in 2016 from the Minnesota School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies. She is a member of the Minnesota Paralegal Association and is fluent in Spanish.
