As Client Support Manager, Amanda Duerr will be available to assist clients with communication outreach, media relations and event planning. Prior to joining the firm, Amanda worked as a researcher in the Minnesota Senate for six years, where she coordinated the media relations of numerous state senators—writing news releases, editorials, speeches, and organizing press conferences. In this position, she monitored several Senate committees by attending all hearings and writing bill summaries, talking points, and newsletter articles on the advancing legislation.
Amanda also has experience in staffing Minnesota Senate and U.S. Congressional offices. She has been a congressional campaign field director—coordinating newsletter and fundraising communications, maintaining the website, and planning events. She has also worked in federal program oversight and contract compliance for a state agency.
Amanda graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris in 2003 with a degree in Political Science and Management.
