Karina joined the team at Flaherty & Hood in 2015. As a legal analyst, she provides job classification and compensation services for local governments, including conducting job analyses, drafting job documentation, assigning job evaluation ratings, conducting wage surveys and creating compensation structures. She also performs organizational studies, including reviewing services provided by the local government, reviewing staffing and organization and reporting structures, surveying comparable communities’ organization and preparing related analysis. She also reviews, organizes, and indexes discovery and constructs files for Mediation and Arbitration; and she constructs and maintains legal reports and voluminous files for collective bargaining agreements and negotiations.
Karina has a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from the Minnesota School of Business. She is a member of the Twin Cities Compensation Network, Society for Human Resources Management, WorldatWork Compensation Institute, and the Minnesota Paralegal Association.
