![]() Christopher M. HoodAttorney/Shareholder Christopher Hood is a shareholder and attorney at Flaherty & Hood, P.A. With 15 years of experience in representing greater Minnesota local governments, Chris has concentrated his practice on providing legal and advocacy services in public labor and employment law, annexation and land use law, administrative Law, environmental Law, real estate law, and municipal law. In providing legal services, Chris's philosophy is to represent the best interests of his clients with quality, cost-effective, and efficient legal services, which protect the rights of clients and achieve successful outcomes. His goal in representation is amicable resolution of disputes where possible, but not at the expense of good judgment, aggressive advocacy, and compliance with the law. Chris currently serves as the City Attorney for the cities of Park Rapids and Sartell in addition to his representation of local governments throughout the state. Chris also develops and coordinates labor strategies and policies for greater Minnesota cities by administering the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities’ Labor and Employee Relations Committee. Chris is a 1992 graduate of William Mitchell College of Law and has an undergraduate degree in finance. Prior to joining Flaherty & Hood, P.A., Chris worked for a Bloomington, Minnesota law firm providing legal research in real estate law, corporate law, civil procedure, and employment law. Chris is admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota and the United States District Court, District of Minnesota. |
