Tim is an attorney with nearly 25 years of experience in developing and implementing successful legislative programs. As a shareholder at Flaherty & Hood, P.A., Tim heads the government relations practice area, and mostly works in the area of tax, energy, land use, and economic development.

Tim's strategic thinking and expertise in finance and related issues have established him as a key player at the Minnesota Legislature. He has a record of success on complex issues and has been instrumental in securing tax and appropriations benefits for many clients. 

Prior to forming Flaherty & Hood, P.A., Tim was a partner at Briggs and Morgan, P.A. where he represented public and private sector clients at the Legislature and before administrative agencies. He also worked for the Oregon Legislature and the City of Minneapolis on intergovernmental relations.

A graduate of Northwestern School of Law at Portland's Lewis and Clark University, Tim is admitted to the practice of law in Oregon and Minnesota.
