Bradley Peterson pens guest column calling on Legislature to pass bonding bill

Flaherty & Hood shareholder attorney Bradley Peterson penned a guest column for the online news site Minnesota Reformer in which he called on the Minnesota Legislature to pass a bonding bill during the special session that invests at least $1.5 billion in critical infrastructure projects around the state.

Peterson, who leads F&H’s government relations program and also serves as executive director for the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities (CGMC), noted that even before the COVID-19 pandemic, a large bonding bill was needed to address infrastructure needs across Minnesota. Now, with the pandemic and the recent unrest in the Twin Cities, the need for a substantial public works package all the more necessary and timely.

In addition to advocating for the CGMC, F&H represents several individual cities and other local governments in helping them obtain state bonding funds for important projects.
