Flaherty & Hood Leads Labor and Employee Relations Seminars

On behalf of the CGMC Labor and Employee Relations Committee, Brandon Fitzsimmons and Chris Hood led two Labor and Employee Relations Seminars this summer: May 31 in St. Peter and June 14 in Staples. These seminars provided practical and legal solutions for providing services and managing employees in local government. Seminar topics included past practices; handling the problem employee; updates on settlements, arbitrations and the Legislature; responding to efforts to create and expand bargaining units; and an interactive panel addressing various labor and employment relations issues.
