Flaherty & Hood lobbyist Amanda Duerr was invited to serve as a panelist at the U.S. Highway 169 Corridor Coalition’s annual meeting on Nov. 20. Panelists discussed transportation needs and priorities, as well as the prospects for increased funding in the 2015 Legislative Session.

As the lobbyist for the U.S. Highway 14 Partnership, Duerr highlighted the importance of corridor coalitions in demonstrating the public support for a transportation investment. Duerr also emphasized the importance of Greater Minnesota in the 2015 transportation discussion, as 10 of the 11 seats that the GOP picked up to gain the House majority were in rural Minnesota.
