Associate Attorney
Corinne Carlson is an Associate Attorney at Flaherty & Hood and practices primarily municipal law and criminal prosecution, serving cities throughout Minnesota.
Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Corinne worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Matthew Frank in the Fourth Judicial District Court. Corinne also spent time serving as a Law Clerk at the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, gaining experience in the Youth Prosecution and Community Prosecution divisions.
Corinne enjoys being involved with organizations that advocate for others. During law school, she participated in the Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners Clinic, providing legal advice for inmates in Minnesota prisons mainly in the realm of civil law, and volunteered through the Minnesota Justice Foundation. Corinne’s volunteerism continued with Street Law, which taught high school students in the metro area about the law with a focus on helping teenagers understand their rights. While an undergraduate, Corinne was also part of an organization called PAVE, which is Promoting Awareness, Victim Empowerment.
Corinne received her law degree from Mitchell Hamline University School of Law with cum laude honors after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, where she earned a B.S. degree in Political Science and earned a spot on the Dean’s List six semesters in a row. She is passionate about giving back to her community, completing 50 hours of volunteer work while in law school. She also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of College-Dublin in Ireland.
Corinne grew up in Mankato, MN, and now lives in Hopkins, MN. When she’s not in the office, Corinne enjoys attending Twins games and watching the Green Bay Packers. In her spare time, she also enjoys reading psychological thrillers, traveling to new places, going on hikes, and checking out local coffee shops.
