Flaherty & Hood, P.A., St. Paul, Minn., is seeking an associate/prosecuting attorney with 0 to 3 years of experience to join its growing practice representing and advising Minnesota cities and other local government units. The position is full-time and will prosecute criminal misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors for Greater Minnesota cities, including Winona and New Ulm, with 80% time performing criminal prosecutions and other administrative hearings and 20% time providing civil legal representation of the firm’s local government clients.
The position is based in St. Paul, with some travel to Greater Minnesota. Education and a demonstrated interest in criminal law and public sector law as well as some prosecution, administrative hearings, and/or litigation experience is preferred.

Salary compares favorably to equivalent public sector positions based upon qualifications and years of experience. Salary range is $85,000 to $95,000 per year.
