Director of Association Management & Client Services
As the Director of Association Management & Client Services, Emma works with organizations behind the scenes to manage everything from day-to-day operations to major events and long-term initiatives. Since joining Flaherty & Hood in 2023, she’s developed and expanded the firm’s association management practice to serve more than a dozen nonprofits, associations, and coalitions, with a particular focus on member-driven organizations.
Emma works with clients to lead statewide conferences and events, develop and launch new programs and strategic efforts, provide comprehensive member services, support Boards of Directors and executive leadership, and provide financial and budgeting guidance. She plays a key role in nonprofit compliance and has assisted with the formation of two new nonprofit advocacy organizations. Emma has also facilitated software transitions, designed websites, and overseen communications and marketing programs on behalf of her clients.
Emma thrives when she can help clients develop and implement creative solutions that address their unique organizational needs. She enjoys building systems and structure and never says no to a new challenge.
Emma graduated summa cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College with degrees in political science and Spanish. She and her partner live in St. Paul with their dog, Rosie.
