Communications & Government Relations Associate
As a communications and government relations associate for Flaherty & Hood, Kelly Haff writes, edits, and provides technical assistance for a multitude of internal and external communications such as social media posts, letters to government officials, virtual and in-person events, and informational handouts and videos. She aids in the development, execution, and evaluation of communications strategies toward accomplishing client goals.
From summarizing survey results to convey the importance of Local Government Aid to organizing virtual meetings with legislators, Kelly enjoys the excitement and diversity of her work. She finds purpose in provoking emotion and building personal connections by creating media that influences, entertains, and informs.
Prior to joining Flaherty & Hood in 2020, Kelly worked for the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce as a Membership and Marketing Specialist. She also worked as a Grant Development and Communications Manager for J. Murphy & Associates. While living in Boston, Kelly was a Constituent Relations Aide at the Office of Massachusetts State Senator Karen Spilka.
When she is not in the office, Kelly enjoys watching television with her husband and dog. She is a certified yoga teacher as well as a marathoner.
