Associate Attorney

Patrick Vollmer is an Associate Attorney at Flaherty & Hood and practices primarily municipal law and criminal prosecution, serving cities throughout Minnesota.

Prior to joining the firm in 2023, Patrick worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Kris Davick-Halfen and Heidi Schultz at the Stearns County District Court. He also spent time as an Assistant General Counsel for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and as a Law Clerk for the Washington County Attorney’s Office. Additionally, he currently serves as a Judge Advocate in the Minnesota Army National Guard.

Patrick received his law degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law after graduating cum laude from Sam Houston State University, where he earned a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice. He is passionate about giving back to his community, receiving a Public Service Award for completing over 100 hours of volunteer work while attending law school.

Patrick grew up in Spring, TX, and now lives in Blaine, MN, with his wife and their dog. When he’s not in the office, Patrick enjoys cooking, playing board games, camping, volunteering, and spending time with his family. Patrick is also a combat veteran, having served in Operation Enduring Freedom, and has completed one marathon with no intention of doing another.
