Associate Attorney

Robert Kringler is an Associate Attorney at Flaherty & Hood and practices on the municipal law team serving cities across Greater Minnesota.

Before joining the firm in 2023, Robert was most recently a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Daniel Moreno at the Hennepin County District Court, following his work as a Legal Resident with Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Paul Thissen. Robert received his B.S. cum laude from North Dakota State University, where he studied history and music, and obtained his J.D. magna cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

While at Mitchell Hamline, Robert was a Certified Student Attorney with the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office in the pretrial felony division and a Judicial Extern with the Honorable Judge Donovan Frank at the U.S. District Court of Minnesota. He also served as an Articles Editor for Volume 48 of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review. Before attending law school, Robert spent time as a Legislative Assistant with Minnesota State Senator Kent Eken, and also worked on political campaigns in both Minnesota and North Dakota.

Robert grew up in Fargo, North Dakota, and has made Minnesota his new home after attending school in the state. When he’s not busy combing through legal briefs, Robert enjoys gardening, exploring State and National Parks, curling, performing music, and helping on the family farm back home.
