Office Administrator

Shelly Walsh re-joined the team at Flaherty & Hood in 2019 (prior tenure from 2001-2008), where she oversees all the administrative functions in the office as Office Administrator. Her job includes billing, database management, employee benefits administration, coordinating office activities, managing vendor contracts, and myriad other office functions.

Shelly’s career started as a laborer on her parent’s Wisconsin dairy farm which logically led to the next step in her career as a laborer at a cheese factory. From there, she moved to Arizona for 14 years where she began gaining what is now more than 30 years’ experience as an administrative professional.

Prior to re-joining Flaherty & Hood, Shelly worked at The Bush Children’s Center as an office coordinator, The Wilder Foundation as the assistant to the director of real estate asset management, and at Bentz Whaley Flessner as an administrative assistant in their client services department. Shelly’s varied background in diverse organizations provided a foundation for her current position at Flaherty & Hood.

When Shelly is not kicking it at the office, she enjoys spending time with her 14-year-old daughter and 7-year-old cat.
