F&H delivers 6 successful client Day at the Capitol events in 2026

During the 2026 legislative session, Flaherty & Hood’s Association Management and Government Relations teams partnered to deliver six successful Day at the Capitol events, helping organizations turn their advocacy goals into well-executed, high-impact experiences.

Over the course of four weeks, Flaherty & Hood hosted Days at the Capitol for the Minnesota Child Care Association, the Economic Development Association of Minnesota, Greater Minnesota Parks and Trails, the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association, and the Minnesota School Bus Operators Association at our offices in St. Paul. We also supported the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities Legislative Action Day, attended by nearly 100 city officials from throughout the state. For all six events, our team led event planning, helped schedule legislative meetings and coordinate speakers, and prepared materials and itineraries for attendees. Day-of, Flaherty & Hood provided comprehensive on-site event support to manage logistics in real time.

While Day at the Capitol events are typically seen as a government relations effort, their success depends heavily on strong operational support. Flaherty & Hood’s association management team worked hand-in-hand with each client from the earliest planning stages to the final meeting of the day to create events that were highly organized, engaging, and effective.
