About this webinar

With public finances and the economy projected to continue their severe decline due to COVID-19 and related government actions, public employers must consider how to address their financial bottom-line during labor negotiations and with their workforce budgets.

This webinar will explore what public employers are planning for wage settlements and benefits and cost-cutting with their workforce. Practical and legal strategies will be discussed for negotiating economic and language items and implementing cost-cutting measures related to wage and benefit freezes, reducing work hours, furloughs, hiring freezes, voluntary separation incentives, layoffs, and subcontracting.
