We are pleased to welcome Darielle Dannen to the Flaherty & Hood team!

Darielle has joined F&H as a lobbyist, using her experience in public policy advocacy and community engagement to design and implement strategies to advance the legislative priorities of her clients. She has an extensive background in economic development and more than a decade of experience advancing legislation at the Capitol.

Before joining Flaherty & Hood, Darielle served as the Government Relations Director at the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), where she worked closely with the DEED Commissioner and Governor Tim Walz to develop, advocate for, and implement the administration’s economic development agenda. Over these years, she collaborated with stakeholders to learn about economic development challenges and opportunities in communities throughout Minnesota and to find policies and state investments that will help local economies expand. Prior to her time at DEED, Darielle served as the Public Policy Director for the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers for seven years.

A native of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Darielle holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and a Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline University.
