Brown graduated cum laude from the University of St. Thomas School of Law where she earned her J.D. and her M.A. in public policy. While in law school, she was selected for the George Beck Fellowship and scholarship program with the Office of Administrative Hearings where she assisted Administrative Law Judges with licensing disputes, sex offender appeals, and other administrative issues. She also externed with the Office of the Revisor of Statutes where she assisted in reorganizing uncodified laws, drafted case summaries for the legislature, and researched implications for proposed policy changes.

As a legal administrative assistant for Flaherty & Hood’s Labor Relations and Employment Law team, Laura Larmour assists in research and data entry regarding legal analysis, including the following services: job analysis, job evaluation, compensation, pay equity, and organizational structure.

Prior to joining our team, Larmour performed clerical and sales work in the private sector, events and administrative planning in an academic setting, and worked in systems development/improvement in the medical device field.
