We are pleased to welcome Alex Wildfang to the Flaherty & Hood team!
As a media and communications specialist in our St. Paul office, Alex Wildfang assists in the development and implementation of communications strategies for the firm and its clients, including media outreach and content creation. She researches, writes, and edits materials such as press releases, social media posts, newsletters, and informational briefs. Her role also entails supporting the work of the government relations team at the Minnesota Capitol and aiding in the planning, promotion, and execution of client events.
Whether maintaining relationships with media outlets or building new ones with legislators, Alex relishes every opportunity to connect with others. As a professional, she is driven by her resolve to facilitate dynamic communication in a world of complex issues. In her position, Alex seeks to achieve client objectives by promoting strategies and conversations that both inform and advocate.
Prior to joining Flaherty & Hood in 2022, Alex interned at the law firm of Robins Kaplan LLP before studying Political Science and International Relations at Florida International University, where she graduated summa cum laude. When she wasn’t occupied with her studies, Alex spent her free time enjoying the many activities and experiences that the diverse culture of Miami provided.
Alex grew up in Eden Prairie and is returning to Minnesota after living outside the state for almost eight years. Outside of work, Alex enjoys watching movies and playing trivia games with her partner. Her other interests include classic film, travel, and crossword puzzles.
