Flaherty & Hood, P.A. is pleased to welcome its newest lobbyist, Dan Dorman! Dorman was hired to serve as the executive director/lobbyist of the newly formed Greater Minnesota Partnership (GMNP), an advocacy group that lobbies for state policies that will benefit economic development in Greater Minnesota.

Prior to joining Flaherty & Hood, Dorman was executive director of the Albert Lea Economic Development Agency from 2007 until August 2013. He also served as a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1998 until 2006.

An Albert Lea native, Dorman is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is currently a member of the boards of the Riverland Community College Foundation and the Albert Lea Community Foundation. He is also a co-owner of Hanson Tire Service in Albert Lea.
