We are pleased to welcome Lacy Schumacher to the Flaherty & Hood team!
As an Associate Attorney in the firm’s St. Paul office, Lacy Schumacher brings her lengthy record of criminal trial experience to help assist Flaherty & Hood municipal clients in prosecuting crime.
Prior to joining Flaherty & Hood, Lacy worked on criminal prosecution for the Chisago County Attorney’s Office as an Assistant County Attorney and the St. Cloud City Attorney’s Office as an Assistant City Attorney. Lacy has extensive experience in handling criminal cases, coordinating cooperation between stakeholders, law enforcement relations, and transactional business law. Additionally, she was the Drug Taskforce liaison for Chisago County, working closely with undercover agents on drug sales investigation and prosecution, and has provided legal training and guidance to law enforcement.
In her undergraduate career, Lacy earned her BA from the University of Minnesota with a double major in Global Studies and Italian. She received her JD from Hamline University School of Law, where she was heavily involved in student associations such as the Appellate Public Defender clinic and the Journal of Public Law and Policy.
